Keck and Lush explore the thresholds between what is seen and what is felt, confronting the tension between presence and absence, reality and perception. Both artists engage with unseen forces—whether cosmic or psychological—asking how the mysteries of the external world mirror the complexities of the inner self.

Keck’s practice is deeply material, incorporating a reductive process that erases graphite and watercolor to reveal luminous, textured surfaces. This act of removal not only creates an ethereal, almost spectral quality but also mirrors the gaps in human understanding—what is erased becomes just as significant as what remains. The process itself reflects the fleeting, often obscured nature of knowledge and perception. Keck’s work examines the ontology of our universe through the metaphor of the UFO, approaching it not as an object of conspiracy or militarism, but as a symbol of mystery, wonder, and human longing. Her work asks what it means to live in a culture that resists engagement with the unknown.

Lush, a fine art photographer, constructs images that explore psychological undercurrents and subconscious drives, staging moments that feel both intimate and unsettling. Her compositions often feature solitary figures engaged in enigmatic gestures, inviting the viewer into unresolved narratives that evoke personal and universal emotional unease. The tension between connection and detachment, the desire to be seen and the fear of exposure, forms an emotional undercurrent throughout her work.

Terra Keck is an image-maker and performer based in Brooklyn, New York. She received her MFA from The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and her BFA from Ball State University. Keck’s work has been featured in publications such as Hyperallergic, The Art Newspaper, and Oxford American Arts and is included in permanent institutional collections in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Hawaii, and California. Her work was recently featured in a solo exhibition at SPRING/BREAK Art Show curated by Field Projects, and in a show at Shepard Fairey’s gallery, Subliminal Projects, during LA Art Week. Standout international exhibitions of 2025 include group shows in Mexico, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

Described by the editor-in-chief of Hyperallergic as “sonograms of a world ready to be born… and brimming with the optimism of theosophical insight,” Keck’s studio practice aims to strengthen viewers' connection to the collective consciousness, assuring them that through the dark forest there is light and meaning.

Chrissy Lush is a fine art photographer based in Nashville, TN. She holds a BFA in Photography from SUNY Purchase and an MFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design. In 2014, she participated in the Arteles Creative Residency in Haukijärvi, Finland. Her artistic endeavors have garnered national and international recognition through various exhibitions and accolades. Notably, her project Hold Me Tight was longlisted in the 2023 Aesthetica Art Prize, earned a spot on the shortlist for the Royal Photographic Society's International Photography Exhibit 164, and secured her position as a Critical Mass 2022 Finalist.
